由英國人繪制，選自 Atlas of Maps, Charts, Sections, Picturesque Views, ete. to Illustrate the "Voyage of Lord Macartney," on his Embassy to China (London: George Nicol, 1796)，即清乾隆時期；圖冊中另有多張中國沿岸城市和港口地圖，以及使節團沿江河北上的路線圖等．
此圖相類似的有法文版，西班牙文及德文版等，圖樣和注解也大同小異，較詳細的記錄了十八世紀，澳門葡人城區的各大小街道，描繪也較為準確精緻，並且標示出各主要建築的位置及名稱，並以繪畫手法表現地形，是早期精緻和詳細的澳門城市地圖之一；
圖中以數字標示出36處地名，城墻分佈及城門位置，其中包括六處炮台位置，主要城門在今水坑尾街以及聖安多尼堂一帶．
